Cancer

Our cancer research explores the mechanisms of tumor progression and cancer drug resistance. This research focus includes analyzing the cellular and molecular makeup of cancer cells to identify novel treatment strategies through drugs that can destroy chemoresistant cancer cells, as well as prevent malignant transformation. Additionally, we examine how cancer cells can be identified and intercepted early by defining environmental and dietary risk factors for disease.
